A Lesson from History- Joseph Welch vs Senator Joe McCarthy




Here is how a person of honor shames a demagogue  A demagogue not unlike the coarse, slandering, prurient men we see today, attaching themselves like lampreys to our political parties . Enough said.

I remember the scene well on our little black& white TV. And the meanspirited alcoholic he was looking did have no shame. Where are our Edward R Murrow's today when we again need them. And the men& women who stand before crowds catering to their obscene shouts and comments and say nothing in their desire for votes... :(
